Orissa International assisted a UK-based manufacturer of fire survival mineral insulated cables in revising their market strategy for Thailand. The client had been trying to break into the Thai market, but was facing challenges. We interviewed various distributors of fire-resistant cables, contractors and an end-user government agency to better understand the procurement process for the product, and to identify the key sectors that present viable opportunities for the client's product. This was complemented with desktop research listing upcoming projects that the client could target and recommendations on important trade shows.

Report on Healthcare Software Solutions in Malaysia

Orissa International delivered a market study to a Singapore client on the usage of hospital information systems and clinic management systems in Malaysia. The report covered government initiatives encouraging ICT adoption in the healthcare sector, the competitive landscape and regulatory requirements for medical software, and went on to provide customized market entry recommendations to the client.

Canadian Engineering and Fabricating Tower Solutions Provider Visits Singapore

Orissa International arranged a series of meetings for a Canadian engineering and fabricating tower solutions provider that exhibited in the Inter Airport South East Asia 2019, an international exhibition for airport equipment, technology, as well as design and services, that was held in Singapore from 27 February to 1 March 2019. During the exhibition, we arranged 7 meetings for the company with potential partners in Singapore, which included key end-users in Singapore.

Water and Wastewater in South East Asia

Orissa International undertook a research project for a UK company which has expertise in sustainable sewage treatment solutions. We identified potential opportunities for its products in the ASEAN region, focusing on popular resort islands where there is a pressing need for wastewater treatment. Our report examined the potential for decentralized wastewater treatment solutions in 7 islands located across South East Asia. It described the existing (or lack of) sewage treatment systems in place, levels of pollution, government regulations and analyzed opportunities in the market.

Orissa International arranged business matching meetings in the Philippines for a Singapore-based distributor of natural sweeteners. Orissa International identified potential distributors, prequalified them and organized a schedule of meeting with those companies. The Singapore company met with 5 potential partners during its in-market visit to the Philippines.

American Educational Institution Visits Vietnam

A nationally ranked college and private liberal arts institution from Pennsylvania, USA visited Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam with an aim to expand their global network. Orissa International, introduced the institution to various international high schools and extended other logistical support. The business trip was very productive according to the client, and hopefully they will be able to send students soon from Vietnam to study in their institution.

Orissa International Attends American Hardwood Seminar in Vietnam

Orissa International attended a Hardwood Seminar in Vietnam that was hosted by the American Hardwood Export Council. During the event, Orissa International networked with Vietnamese hardwood importers and gathered market information on topics such as wood quality, price and availability of hardwood supply that affect the Vietnamese market. The information gathered during the event was then submitted to a U.S.-state client.

Orissa International delivered a report on smart city developments in Malaysia to a trade and export promotion agency from a European country. Orissa International delivered a customized report to a Singapore-based Fintech company which has developed an account aggregation solution which enables users to obtain an integrated overview of their asset portfolio. Orissa International's in-country team of researchers in Philippines conducted desk research on similar applications available in the market and interviewed affluent SME owners and financial advisors to gauge the potential for the app as a B2B, and as a B2C solution.
