Dubai-headquartered Metito, a global leader in smart water management and alternative energy solutions, has won a project from Thai renewable energy power producer Absolute Clean Energy (ACE). Metito will conceptualize and execute a comprehensive water treatment programme for ACE’s 10 biomass powerplants in 10 different locations across Thailand.
ACE has ten biomass power plants around Thailand. It has been awarded a contract by the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand to build an additional 20 plants.
The water treatment program for the power plant will encompass pretreatment, Reverse Osmosis (RO), cooling tower and boiler system; automation system to monitor and control the cooling tower water parameters to avoid the variation in the parameters during different seasons and operation conditions; onsite service support; scheduled and unscheduled; and training for both operators and management for optimized operations.
