Chick-fil-A, Inc., the third-largest quick-service restaurant chain in the United States by sales, has announced plans to open its first restaurant in Singapore in late 2025, marking its entry into the Asian market. The expansion is part of a 10-year, USD 75 million investment in the region. Ahead of the launch, the brand hosted a three-day pop-up event in June 2024, attracting over 1,000 attendees who sampled Chick-fil-A’s signature menu items, including the Original Chick-fil-A® Chicken Sandwich.
The restaurant will operate under Chick-fil-A’s unique franchise model, where local Owner-Operators actively manage and run their outlets. This approach ensures that franchisees are directly involved in the day-to-day operations, enabling efficient management and strong customer engagement. The Singapore franchise will also feature programs such as the Chick-fil-A Shared Table™, which repurposes surplus food for distribution through nonprofit partners, adding value to operational processes.
By establishing its presence in Singapore, Chick-fil-A aims to leverage the city-state’s strategic position as a gateway to Asia while introducing its distinctive brand of food and service. The company is currently accepting expressions of interest from individuals seeking to become Singapore’s first franchise Owner-Operators, as it gears up to provide a high-quality dining experience tailored to the local market.
