PSA Singapore has launched the construction of the PSA Supply Chain Hub @ Tuas (PSCH), a two million-square-foot facility designed to transform logistics and supply chain operations in Singapore. Positioned within the Tuas Port Free Trade Zone, the hub will serve as a Regional Distribution Centre and Container Freight Station, offering seamless integration with Singapore’s supply chain ecosystem. Scheduled for completion in 2027, the PSCH is expected to enhance connectivity, efficiency, and scale, solidifying Singapore’s status as a global logistics and trade hub.
The PSCH will feature advanced automation technologies, including Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) and the Intelligent Warehouse eXchange (iWX), to streamline cargo handling and improve operational efficiency. These systems will enable faster cargo processing, enhanced supply chain visibility, and adaptability to evolving global trade patterns. In addition to operational improvements, the hub incorporates eco-friendly infrastructure, such as renewable energy sources, energy-efficient designs, and sustainable drainage systems, supporting PSA’s commitment to achieving net-zero emissions and contributing to Singapore’s green transformation.
Strategically adjacent to Tuas Port, the PSCH will facilitate the consolidation of PSA’s operations, including those at the Keppel Distripark and city terminals at Tanjong Pagar, Keppel, and Brani, which will move to Tuas Port by 2027. This consolidation aligns with PSA’s broader strategy to develop a cohesive port and logistics ecosystem, streamlining operations and improving cargo flows. By integrating with PSA’s global Node to Network strategy, the hub will strengthen Singapore’s trade connectivity across Southeast Asia and international markets.
The PSCH builds on PSA’s extensive experience in managing port adjacencies and its commitment to advancing logistics capabilities. It is expected to play a pivotal role in enhancing cargo handling efficiency, reducing transit times, and supporting Singapore’s position as a logistics and supply chain leader in the region. PSA has emphasised that the hub will not only support Singapore’s trade and logistics ambitions but will also provide strategic benefits to the wider Southeast Asia region.
