South Korea’s Hanwha Life recently inked a memorandum of understanding with its local collaborator, the Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) under the University of Danang, for the “Future Talent Development Program in Finance and ICT” in Vietnam.
The signing event took place in Danang, Vietnam, with prominent figures like Hwang Jun-hwan, CEO of Hanwha Life Vietnam, and Huynh Cong Phap, President of the Vietnam-Korea University of ICT, in attendance, alongside 150 undergraduate students specializing in FinTech at the Vietnam-Korea University of ICT.
Under this agreement, Hanwha Life will roll out a structured program to nurture future talent in finance and ICT fields throughout Vietnam. Accordingly, the company will establish specialized infrastructure and training programs focused on FinTech education, aiming to enhance the capabilities of both Vietnamese students and faculty members.
In line with Vietnam’s national education strategy, particularly in high-demand ICT domains, Hanwha Life will leverage its expertise in finance and FinTech to contribute to the advancement of local education.
The vice president of the communications office at Hanwha Life emphasized that by integrating Hanwha Life’s FinTech expertise, the company is dedicated to constructing financial and ICT education infrastructure, and nurturing future talents.
