Liverpool FC is expanding its presence in Asia through a new retail partnership in Indonesia. This collaboration with PT Kanmo Weston Retailindo, a joint venture between Weston Corporation from Singapore and Indonesia’s Kanmo Group, marks a significant step in the club’s efforts to connect with fans in Southeast Asia.
The partnership kicks off with online sales of Liverpool FC’s official merchandise and is set to include physical stores across Indonesia. One of the key developments will be the opening of the first standalone Liverpool FC store in Pondok Indah Mall, Jakarta, expected this summer. This store will offer a range of official items, including the latest 2024-25 Nike home kit and exclusive merchandise tailored for Indonesian fans.
Mike Cox, Senior Vice President of Merchandising at Liverpool FC, commented on the new venture, noting the successful collaboration with Weston Corporation over the past five years. He highlighted the importance of Kanmo Group’s local retail knowledge in navigating the Indonesian market and emphasized the enthusiasm of local football fans.
Before Indonesia, Liverpool FC also signed a partnership for expansion in South Korea. The club has teamed up with Over the Pitch, a brand and creative design studio established in 2014 that showcases football culture in South Korea and collaborates with both domestic and international clubs.
