US-based fashion brand, Coach is set to launch its first-ever Coach Play concept store in Southeast Asia. In collaboration with A Place Where (APW), an event and retail hub in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur, the store will open by the end of September 2024.
The concept store will feature the latest Coach collections, including Coachtopia, the brand’s sustainability-focused sub-brand. Additionally, visitors can enjoy screen printing custom T-shirts and totes, alongside handcrafted beverages and treats at The Coach Coffee Shop. The project is estimated to cost millions of Ringgit, with the retail space expected to cover between 7,500 and 8,500 square feet or more.
Previously, Coach debuted its first Coach Play store in Ipoh, Perak, at Silverlakes Village Outlet. The 2,516-square-foot immersive store was inspired by a summer camp setting and introduced Malaysia’s first Coach Coffee Shop. In 2023, Coach also launched the world’s first Coach Airways—a unique retail store and café housed inside a retrofitted Boeing 747-230B—at Freeport A’Famosa Outlet in Melaka.
