Vietnam’s Prime Minister has approved the establishment of Danang Information Technology Park (DITP) as Danang’s second Centralized Information Technology (CIT) zone after Da Nang’s software park. DITP is being built on total land area of 341 hectares, with an investment of USD 120 million in two stages. The Trung Nam Group built the first stage on 131 hectares with an investment of USD 82 million. The first stage was launched in 2018.
The Trung Nam Group has also started construction of an apartment and office complex for IT businesses on 8.7 hectares as a prelude to the second stage.
DITP will receive preferential policies and regulations in order to attract domestic and foreign investors in IT, electronics Manufacturing and telecommunications. According to Danang’s information and communications department, DITP is expected to generate revenue of USD 1.5 billion annually and create 25,000 jobs.
