CPV Food Co. Ltd., a member of CP Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company, recently held the inauguration ceremony of CPV Poultry Complex in Binh Phuoc Province. This is the largest chicken farming complex in South East Asia to date, expected to generate USD 100 million per year during its first phase and USD 200 million per year in its second phase, from 2023 onwards.
Located at the Becamex Binh Phuoc Industrial Park, the new poultry complex required an initial investment capital of USD 250 million, consisting of one feed mill, one egg incubation factory, five breeding farms, 24 broiler farms, and one slaughter-processing factory. In total, CPV Food’s complex can produce and process up to 50 million chickens per year in the first phase and will increase to 100 million chickens per year in the second phase.
The CPV Food’s complex is capable of ensuring traceability in its entire supply chain and meets the requirements of the advanced import markets such as Japan, the Middle East, and Europe. This development aligns with the Vietnamese government’s policy that strives to be a food producer with internationally-recognized standards.
