Singapore’s Aice Group has opened up a second ice cream factory at the Ngoro Industrial Park, located in Mojokerto, East Java, Indonesia. The 44,152 m2 facility is the largest of its kind in South East Asia. The plant, which costed USD 50 million, will have 14 production lines producing as much as 200 tons of ice cream per day.
In Indonesia, Aice already has one factory in Cikarang, West Java. Thanks to the two factories, the company will be able to meet the demand of its 200,000 resellers in the country.
With the new factory opened, the company plans to export its products to the Philippines and Vietnam. Aice Group also has revealed that it has plans to open a third facility in West Indonesia in the near future.
