Treasure Global Inc (TGL), a Malaysian technology solutions provider with presence in the U.S. has announced a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Malaysia Retail Chain Association (MRCA) to become its exclusive partner as the recommended digital F&B management solution.
Under this partnership, TAZTE, TGL’s digital food and beverage (F&B) management system, will become the recommended digital solution for MRCA’s extensive network, which encompasses over 500 merchants and spans more than 40,000 outlets across Malaysia. TAZTE offers these merchants a comprehensive automation solution, streamlining their operational processes, enhancing efficiency, and delivering cost-saving benefits.
Sam Teo, the CEO of TGL, is hopeful about TAZTE’s capability to revolutionize the F&B sector in Malaysia. He further stressed on TGL’s dedication to expand TAZTE’s presence throughout Southeast Asia, using their alliance with MRCA as a catalyst. For 2023, MRCA anticipates a substantial growth in sales, bolstered by foreign investments and the adoption of digital technologies by retailers. Their optimism is also tied to the anticipated return of the Franchise Expo 2023, formerly recognized as the Malaysian International Retail Franchise. This year’s expo is anticipated to draw investments totaling MYR 120 million (equivalent to USD 25 million) from countries such as China, Cambodia, Taiwan, and South Korea.
