Thailand has been ranked at the country with the sixth-best healthcare system in the world in a study elaborated by the American magazine CEOWORLD. According to CEOWORLD, the South East Asian country is among few regional peers which managed to place in top 10 in 2019, namely South Korea, who reached second place, and Japan, ranked third.
CEOWORLD’s Health Care Index rates a number of factors such as Infrastructure; health care professionals’ (doctors, nursing staff, and other health workers) competence, cost, availability of quality medicine, and government readiness.
