The Digital Council of Thailand (DCT) and the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) are collaborating in an effort to foster the development of data centers and artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities in Thailand in order to turn the country into a digital innovation hub.
The two organizations are planning to drive digital transformation in the country and reskill and upskill the digital workforce to be ready to cope with digital disruption and upcoming 5G adoption.
Crucially, the Thai Chamber of Commerce, DCT and FTI have agreed to establish a data center. The Thai Bankers’ Association will be invited to help create one. Moreover, DCT and FTI are encouraging the government to provide incentives for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to enhance their digital capability.
