New Factory Plans for Mazaraat Artisanal Cheese in Indonesia

Oct 2022

Mazaraat Artisanal Cheese, the Indonesian handmade cheese brand, is building a second factory, which will quadruple its daily output. The founder, Jamie Najmi, stated that they planned to subsequently enter more Asia Pacific markets from 2023 to 2024.

The factory would be opening in Yogyakarta, near the first factory, and will have the capacity to produce 3,000 litres of milk, which is three times the capacity of the first factory. The new factory will supplement the first factory and together, they will produce up to 400kg of cheese per day.

The brand intends to distribute the cheeses to more countries in South East Asia, such as Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, and the Philippines in 2023 and to Japan and beyond by 2024.
