Bluebird (Bluebird Group), Indonesia’s leading taxi operator, is deploying BlackBerry’s AI-enabled cybersecurity software and managed Extended Detection and Response (XDR) service, strengthening its security posture across the transportation supply chain as it transitions to digital, according to a BlackBerry Ltd and Telkomsel announcement.
Bluebird has a complex vendor and partner ecosystem, including payment gateways, apps, and APIs, with over 23,000 taxis, containers, logistics, and heavy equipment. It deployed BlackBerry Protect, BlackBerry Optics, and BlackBerry Guard with Telkomsel’s support, delivering always-on cybersecurity expertise backed by Cylance AI for continuous protection, detection, and response.
BlackBerry Protect for end-point protection (EPP) and BlackBerry Optics for end-point detection and response (EDR) are automated, prevention-first solutions that leverage AI and Machine Learning to protect against malware infection and potential data breaches. A recent hack attempt against an Indonesian corporation, for example, was thwarted when the Cylance AI engine recognized and removed crypto-jacking malware.
Meanwhile, BlackBerry Guard is a managed XDR solution that provides companies with access to skilled threat prevention professionals on a subscription basis 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
