Arquus and PT Pindad signed an MoU during the Eurosatory 2022 exhibition, which took place in Paris, to create a future partnership in land systems platforms for Indonesia. This MoU involves the development and construction of new armored vehicles, as well as related systems and services. Both organizations agree to formalize an excellent connection into larger-scale cooperation with this agreement.
Arquus and PT Pindad have had a long and fruitful collaboration over the past 15 years. Arquus has been supplying PT Pindad with essential components and parts that have been incorporated into Indonesian-made armored vehicles for many years. Arquus has provided power packs for ANOA 6×6 APC vehicles and BADAK 6×6 IFV vehicles now serving in the Indonesian Army as part of that collaboration. Arquus also supplied the KOMODO 4×4 multifunctional vehicle with rolling chassis.
Arquus and PT Pindad have decided to sign an MoU to formalize their conversations and develop their collaboration. The MoU aims to collaborate in the field of military vehicles and systems to meet the demands of the Indonesian Armed Forces. Multi-purpose armored vehicles, reconnaissance vehicles, APC and IFV, as well as remote-controlled weapon stations will be included in this partnership. It might also involve product development, qualification, manufacturing, assembly, and after-sales services.
Arquus is delighted to get closer to its long-term partner, PT Pindad. The new MoU should aid in the structure of both firms’ continuing and future cooperation, renewing Arquus’ commitment to Indonesia and presence alongside the Indonesian National Armed Forces.
