Orissa International successfully facilitated a delegation trip in 2024 for a group of Vietnamese culinary professionals to participate in a specialized culinary camp in Texas. The delegation included nine Executive Chefs from various culinary organizations, as well as two Operations Directors from food and beverage trading companies. The trip introduced the participants to key agricultural products from Texas, such as pecans, peanuts, sorghum, premium dairy, and artisanal alcohol. Following the trip, activities included a survey to identify suitable producers for a planned trade mission to Vietnam in 2023 and ongoing coordination for future partnerships. This initiative provided the Vietnamese delegation with valuable insights into Texas’s diverse agricultural sector, laying the groundwork for direct procurement opportunities and enhancing bilateral trade prospects.
