Orissa International conducted a study for an Italian distillery specializing in Grappa and other distilled spirits, aimed at exploring the alcohol market in Singapore. This comprehensive analysis included an overview of Singapore’s trade in liquor, detailed insights into the spirits market, and focused research on Grappa brands present in the market through both physical and online store checks. We also developed in-depth profiles of key restaurants and distributors, crucial for understanding distribution dynamics and potential market entry strategies, while examining the regulatory landscape including liquor control regulations and local duties on intoxicating liquors.

Following the research phase, we successfully facilitated virtual business matchmaking between the Italian distillery and potential partners in the region. Our prequalification process involved identifying and engaging with alcohol distributors that included Grappa or Gin in their portfolios. From these efforts, we arranged three strategic meetings to discuss potential collaborations, helping the distillery navigate through the complexities of the Singapore market and identify avenues for growth in a challenging environment.
