Orissa International supported a US-based oyster producer in expanding its distribution network across Southeast Asia through participation at Seafood Expo Asia 2025 in Singapore. Our in-market teams across Southeast Asia conducted extensive outreach to more than 150 seafood importers, distributors, retailers, and hospitality operators in key markets, including Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Singapore. In Singapore, outreach was extended to 18 food operator chains as the client also explored the feasibility of establishing a franchised restaurant under its brand. The coordinated effort resulted in six in-person meetings, including one with a legal advisor to discuss franchise structures, multiple discussions with regional seafood distributors who attended the show, and three virtual connections with distributors. The initiative generated a strong pool of qualified leads and provided valuable market intelligence to guide the client’s future market entry and growth strategy in Southeast Asia.
