It was jointly announced by Cleveland Clinic and Vinmec Health System that Vinmec Times City International Hospital has joined the network of Cleveland Clinic Connected.
Cleveland Clinic developed Cleveland Clinic Connected in response to the rising demand for high-quality healthcare on a worldwide scale. In order to improve patient care, quality, and safety, the collaborative program enables hospitals and healthcare organizations all over the world to engage with Cleveland Clinic’s clinical and operational specialists. Members of the program can gain access to the clinical, operational, and best practices that Cleveland Clinic has developed over its 101-year history.
Vinmec Times City International Hospital, a unit of Vinmec Health System, will have immediate access to Cleveland Clinic specialists for clinical and administrative support as a result of Cleveland Clinic Connected. The hospital employs a group of skilled physicians from Vietnam and other countries who offer high-acuity care in a variety of disciplines, such as orthopedics, oncology, and women’s health. The 500-bed hospital is accredited by Joint Commission International, a recognized global leader in healthcare certification.
Vinmec and VinUniversity, both owned by Vingroup, are in partnership to train medical professionals, including physicians and nurses. Clinicians at the hospital will now have access to Cleveland Clinic educational initiatives, distance learning, and best practices.
According to Newsweek’s World’s Best Hospitals 2022 List, Cleveland Clinic is one of the top hospital systems in the world, with 22 hospitals and more than 220 outpatient locations worldwide, including ones in northeast Ohio, southeast Florida, Las Vegas, Nevada, Toronto, Canada, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, and London, England.
