Stavian Recycling Joint Stock Company has signed memoranda of understanding with Austrian recycling technology leader Starlinger & Co. GmbH and Italian machinery manufacturer AMUT S.p.A., marking a major step forward in the development of its rPET Recycling Plant Project in the Nghi Son Economic Zone, Thanh Hoa Province. The facility, designed with an annual capacity of 17,000 tons, will anchor Stavian’s ambition to build one of Vietnam’s most advanced circular economy hubs.
Under the agreements, Starlinger of Austria will supply its recoSTAR PET ART line, a flagship European technology widely adopted by global brands such as Coca-Cola and PepsiCo. Italy’s AMUT will provide a high-performance washing line for post-consumer plastics, enabling the plant to meet stringent international quality requirements. Together, these systems will form the technological backbone of Stavian’s rPET production process, ensuring traceable, export-ready materials that comply with the standards of key markets including the EU, United States, and Japan.
