Bespin Global Vietnam, a cloud management service provider, has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with South Korea’s Changsoft I&I to develop a platform for smart cities in Vietnam. Accordingly, the data-integrated management frameworks will be first implemented in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang.
The MoU is expected to facilitate the integration of Changsoft’s Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology into the THT-Bespin smart city hub, which was invented and operated by Bespin Global’s Vietnamese subsidiary and Daewoo EC, a Vietnamese subsidiary of THT Development.
Bespin Global Vietnam and Changsoft will utilize their advantages and capabilities in developing smart cities to secure their leadership in this sector in Vietnam, heading towards expanding their business across Southeast Asia. Currently, Bespin is managing the new Starlake urban area in downtown Hanoi and implementing the smart city hub platform provided by THT-Bespin.
The combination of BIM technology and data integration management platform reduces the costs of maintenance and increases the competitiveness of smart cities. This advanced technology will improve the city’s layout and infrastructure by generating a 3D model that contains data about roads, buildings, and utilities. By employing Changsoft’s BIM solution, Bespin Global will expedite its commercialization approach in the Vietnamese market.
Changsoft, a BIM solution Contech provider, is the creator of the BuilderHub series, a 3D automatic detailed modeling tool for reinforcement, concrete, and mold work, which accounts for more than 70% of the construction cost.
