South Korean Logistics Specialist Partners with Indonesia Cold-Chain Association

Oct 2025

Willog, a prominent South Korean firm specializing in IoT and AI-driven logistics intelligence, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indonesian Cold Chain Association (ICCA/ARPI). Through this collaboration, Willog will leverage its advanced “K-Logistics” expertise to enhance and modernize Indonesia’s cold chain infrastructure. The initiative aligns with Indonesia’s broader national objectives, particularly the National Logistics Ecosystem (NLE) program and the “Golden Indonesia 2045” vision.

With Indonesia’s vast and fragmented geography of around 17,000 islands, modernizing the nation’s logistics system has become a key government priority. The country’s rapidly expanding cold chain industry has intensified the demand for higher technological standards and stronger infrastructure. In response, the partnership between Willog and the ICCA aims to tackle these challenges by introducing advanced monitoring technology standards specifically adapted to the Indonesian market.

Through a new collaboration, Willog is set to deploy its IoT and AI solutions to provide real-time monitoring of environmental factors such as temperature and impact, aiming to minimize risks and operational costs. The initiative also enhances data transparency and strengthens business trust.

Having demonstrated success in South Korea, Willog’s innovative solutions are already deployed by major logistics companies and government agencies, including the Republic of Korea Army. The technology is anticipated to enhance logistics efficiency and reliability in Indonesia, while minimizing waste and protecting sensitive goods.

Willog’s Co-CEO highlighted the strategic significance of the agreement, noting that the MoU goes beyond a conventional technology partnership. It embodies a substantial opportunity to support Indonesia’s national vision for developing the NLE. The company reaffirmed its commitment to applying its proven technologies to help establish cold chain monitoring standards in Indonesia and to drive logistics innovation across the ASEAN region as a leading representative of “K-Logistics.”

The ICCA Chairman also noted that Willog’s advanced cold chain solutions would play a pivotal role in modernizing Indonesia’s market infrastructure. He further affirmed that the ICCA would leverage its extensive expertise and market insights while working closely with government agencies to support the project’s successful implementation. As part of the next phase, both organizations plan to initiate pilot projects in high-value sectors such as seafood and pharmaceuticals, aiming to develop solutions tailored to Indonesia’s unique logistics landscape.
