Singapore’s Digital and Intelligence Service (DIS) has signed a three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Dragos Inc., a U.S.-based cybersecurity firm specializing in operational technology (OT) security. The agreement aims to enhance Singapore’s cybersecurity capabilities through joint development efforts, strategic cybersecurity planning, training, and information sharing on cyber threats.
The partnership was formalized on the sidelines of the Critical Infrastructure Defence Exercise (CIDeX) 2024, an annual event organized by the DIS and the Cybersecurity Agency of Singapore (CSA) to strengthen Singapore’s cyber defenses. The collaboration will focus on improving the protection of critical infrastructure from cyber threats, which have become an increasing concern in an interconnected digital landscape.
This is not the first cybersecurity partnership between Singapore and Dragos. In August 2023, Dragos signed an MOU with the CSA to bolster OT cybersecurity in the country. The latest agreement reinforces Singapore’s proactive approach to digital defense, particularly as the DIS continues to expand its partnerships with industry leaders to address evolving cyber threats.
As Singapore invests in strengthening its cybersecurity capabilities, the agreement with Dragos underscores the importance of international cooperation in safeguarding critical infrastructure from cyberattacks.
