ACG, a provider of integrated manufacturing solutions for the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries, has commenced operations at its capsule manufacturing facility in Rayong, Thailand. This new facility, the largest of its kind in the country, is dedicated to producing empty hard gelatin capsules and is strategically positioned to serve key markets across Asia.
Playing a vital role in ACG’s global operations, the facility enhances the company’s capacity to meet the increasing demand for high-quality capsules in the region. Countries such as Indonesia, Vietnam, South Korea, Malaysia, and the Philippines will benefit from improved supply chain efficiencies and reduced transit times. Covering 175,000 square meters, the facility will employ 250 people and is designed to produce 20 billion capsules annually. Approvals are also being sought to expand supply to China.
Thailand has been identified as a strategic market for ACG, with this expansion marking a significant milestone in the company’s global journey. Establishing a local presence strengthens technological capabilities, reduces delivery times, and enhances operational efficiency. The new facility aligns with ACG’s commitment to growth in Asian markets while ensuring high-quality products for regional partners.
