Nippon Express Logistics (Thailand) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Nippon Express Holdings, Inc., has opened a new logistics facility in the Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate (ESIE) in Rayong Province, Thailand. The Eastern Seaboard Logistics Center began operations on July 1, 2025, and is intended to serve growing logistics needs in the region, particularly for companies in the mobility and technology sectors.
Rayong is a key part of Thailand’s Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), which includes Rayong, Chachoengsao, and Chonburi provinces. This area is central to the government’s Thailand 4.0 strategy, which aims to modernize the country’s industrial base through foreign investment, improved infrastructure, and targeted incentives. Rayong is also located near Laem Chabang Port, the country’s largest international shipping port.
The ESIE hosts more than 500 manufacturers, including many Japanese and international firms. With ongoing development of nearby industrial zones, the region is positioned as a major supply chain hub.
The new logistics center has been established to provide efficient supply chain services, including Just-in-Time (JIT) delivery and Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI). Its location allows Nippon Express to offer timely and flexible logistics solutions that meet the specific needs of advanced manufacturing operations.
Nippon Express stated that the facility reflects its broader commitment to supporting clients through the development of high-quality logistics platforms, both in Thailand and globally. The new center is expected to contribute to the efficiency and competitiveness of businesses operating in the EEC region.
