Liverpool FC has expanded its presence in Asia by launching its second official retail store in Indonesia. The new store in Surabaya was officially inaugurated by former Reds striker Emile Heskey, who also hosted a meet-and-greet session with fans in January. As part of the event, Heskey engaged with members of the Official Liverpool Supporters Club – BigReds – during a live screening of Liverpool’s Premier League match against Brentford.
Situated in Indonesia’s second-most populous city at Pakuwon Mall, Liverpool FC’s latest retail store follows the successful launch of its first official outlet at Pondok Indah Mall 2 in Jakarta in July 2024. The opening event featured various fan engagement activities designed to “inspire belief” and strengthen the sense of community among LFC supporters. The club’s official mascot, Mighty Red, also made an appearance after participating in a community initiative in Jakarta in collaboration with the Inspiration Factory Foundation, supporting underprivileged children.
Liverpool FC’s new retail store in Surabaya, developed with official retail partner PT Kanmo Weston Retailindo, has been strategically chosen as a key location. The store adopts the innovative design concept of the club’s flagship outlet at Liverpool ONE in the city center, reflecting Liverpool’s rich architectural heritage. Visitors can browse a comprehensive selection of replica kits, exclusive Liverpool FC apparel and accessories, and various unique souvenirs.
The opening of Liverpool FC’s retail store in Surabaya expands the club’s global presence to 18 locations, with another store set to launch in Denmark in 2025. This expansion highlights the club’s dedication to strengthening its connection with its worldwide fanbase.
