Coca-Cola Europacific Partners and Aboitiz Break Ground on 42-Hectare Mega Plant in Tarlac

Oct 2025

Coca-Cola Europacific Aboitiz Philippines (CCEAP) has started construction of a 42-hectare manufacturing facility in Tarlac City, which will become Coca-Cola’s largest production site in the Philippines and one of its biggest worldwide.

Located within the Aboitiz Group’s TARI Industrial Estate, the new plant is expected to create hundreds of local jobs, attract supporting industries, and drive economic growth across Central Luzon.

CCEAP, a joint venture between Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) and Aboitiz Equity Ventures (AEV), expects initial production to begin within 1.5 years, with full development to be completed over the next decade. CCEP owns 60 percent of the venture, while AEV holds 40 percent, aligning with Aboitiz’s strategy to expand its “techglomerate” portfolio of life-essential and technology-driven businesses.

During the groundbreaking ceremony, AEV President and CEO Sabin Aboitiz emphasized that the project strengthens the group’s partnership with Coca-Cola and highlights Central Luzon’s readiness to lead the next wave of industrial growth. CCEAP President and CEO Gareth McGeown noted that the investment demonstrates Coca-Cola’s long-term commitment to the Philippines, supporting local supply chains and creating sustainable employment opportunities.

The Tarlac plant is also among the largest single-locator investments in the TARI Industrial Estate, developed by Aboitiz InfraCapital Economic Estates. Strategically located near major transport corridors including TPLEX, CLLEX, and SCTEX, the estate offers easy access to Clark International Airport and the ports of Manila and Subic, reinforcing Tarlac’s position as a key industrial hub in North Luzon.

This landmark investment underscores Coca-Cola’s role in advancing industrial growth in the Philippines and supports the government’s efforts to decentralize economic development beyond Metro Manila.
