Cisco Systems, Inc. has partnered with local technology firm Entropy Technology to accelerate the deployment of artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure across Philippine industries.
Under the collaboration, Entropy will deploy the Cisco Secure AI Factory in partnership with Nvidia Corp., marking the first local implementation of the platform. The initiative aims to develop and scale AI solutions for telecommunications providers, internet service providers, and enterprise clients.
The partnership will support applications such as network automation, predictive maintenance, broadband analytics, smart traffic management, public safety, and cybersecurity. By enabling secure processing of large data volumes, the platform is designed to deliver automation and actionable insights across telecom networks and broader industry use cases.
Cisco cited findings from its AI Readiness Index 2025, which show that 50% of Philippine organizations expect AI workloads to increase by at least 50% over the next three to five years. However, only half report having the infrastructure necessary to support that growth.
Cisco Philippines Managing Director Zaza Soriano-Nicart said the collaboration aims to empower local industries to adopt emerging technologies securely, reliably, and at scale as AI adoption accelerates in the country.
