Orissa International has won a strategic project from the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to enhance the export capacity of Estonian companies in Southeast Asia and attract foreign direct investment (FDI) to Estonia. Financed under the NextGenerationEU initiative, the project focuses on six key markets – Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Indonesia. Orissa International will develop a comprehensive roadmap, including an in-depth analysis of target sectors, country-specific export strategies, and a five-year FDI strategy to strengthen economic ties between Estonia and Southeast Asia.
As part of this project, Orissa International will assess high-potential sectors and identify key opportunities for Estonian companies to enter and expand in these markets. The study will also outline a structured plan to facilitate FDI inflows from Southeast Asian businesses into Estonia, leveraging Estonia’s strengths as a digital and innovation-driven economy. For Singapore, Orissa International is partnering with Intralink to tap on their expertise in FDI and provide additional market insights to ensure a well-rounded strategy for engaging with investors.
This initiative aligns with Estonia’s broader efforts to deepen trade and investment ties with Southeast Asia, following the recent opening of the Estonian Business Hub in Singapore. With Estonia positioning itself as a gateway to the Nordic-Baltic region, the project will equip Estonian businesses with the necessary insights and strategies to navigate the Southeast Asian market effectively. By leveraging our expertise in market entry and trade development, Orissa International is committed to supporting Estonia’s economic diplomacy initiatives and fostering stronger commercial linkages between the two regions.
