Asiabest Group International Inc. has announced the establishment of a wholly owned subsidiary, ABG Modular, to expand modern modular construction solutions in the Philippines. In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange, the company stated that ABG Modular will initially operate in partnership with Concrete Stone Corp. (CSC), leveraging CSC’s advanced precast production capabilities and technical expertise.
The collaboration aims to deliver high-quality precast components at scale, enabling more efficient project execution across key sectors, including housing, commercial developments, infrastructure, schools, and community facilities. Modular construction is increasingly viewed as a viable solution to the country’s housing backlog and shortage of educational facilities, offering faster build times, cost efficiencies, and improved project margins.
According to Investor Relations Officer Michael Lim, the initiative aligns with Asiabest’s broader strategy to become a vertically integrated player across supply, logistics, and manufacturing. The move is expected to enhance operational efficiency while delivering greater speed, reliability, and sustainability, ultimately creating long-term value for shareholders.
