Medical Solutions Group Strengthens Partnership with WWRS Philippines

Feb 2026

As healthcare systems worldwide seek more efficient and patient-centered delivery models, virtual nursing and telehealth-enabled services are playing an increasingly critical role. Virtual care hubs now support hospitals and healthcare providers through remote inpatient care coordination, triage, patient education, documentation, and post-discharge follow-ups — helping improve access, safety, and operational efficiency.

Against this backdrop, US-based Medical Solutions Group (MSG), one of the largest healthcare talent ecosystems in the United States, reaffirmed its strategic partnership with Worldwide Resource Solutions Philippines (WWRS Philippines) during a recent leadership visit to its Quezon City offices.

Led by CEO Rebecca Rogers Tijerino, the MSG delegation met with WWRS Philippines’ leadership team to align on growth plans, operational expansion, and the scaling of virtual care services. Discussions focused on strengthening clinical process outsourcing (CPO) and knowledge process outsourcing (KPO) capabilities, expanding facilities within and outside Metro Manila to support disaster-resilient operations, and launching professional exchange initiatives between US and Philippine teams.

Tijerino highlighted the rapid growth of WWRS Philippines, noting that the organization has expanded from 200 employees in 2024 to more than 700 across multiple sites within a year. The expansion complements MSG’s broader global growth, as the group supports over 14,500 clinicians daily across US hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and ambulatory care centers.

During the visit, MSG executives reviewed operations spanning talent acquisition, credentialing, onboarding, and workforce support services. Tijerino emphasized the value of the Manila-based team, citing its technical expertise, strong work ethic, and collaborative culture as key contributors to MSG’s success.

She also underscored the Philippines’ position as a dynamic healthcare talent market, noting that Filipino professionals bring a combination of technical proficiency, problem-solving capability, and client-focused service aligned with evolving global healthcare workforce demands.

Looking ahead, both organizations aim to deepen their collaboration to further support healthcare providers globally while expanding career opportunities for Filipino professionals in the healthcare services sector.
