Instructure, a leading American educational technology company and developer of the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS), has chosen the Philippines as the location for its Asian regional hub, underscoring the country’s growing role as a center for digital education and technology services in the region.
The newly opened Quezon City office employs over 150 professionals and will serve as a strategic base for Instructure’s expansion across Asia. The hub will provide region-specific services in information technology, human resources, and marketing, while strengthening Canvas’ 24/7 global support model for educators and academic institutions.
According to Harrison Kelly, Instructure’s Managing Director for Asia Pacific, the Philippines was selected for its strong community of Canvas users, positive customer feedback, and skilled talent pool. The investment highlights Instructure’s continued commitment to supporting educators and learners worldwide through innovative digital learning tools and platforms.
The move positions the Philippines as a key player in Instructure’s global operations and as a launch point for future market growth across Asia’s expanding education technology ecosystem.
