Malaysian specialty coffee chain ZUS Coffee has officially entered the Thailand market with the opening of two outlets in Bangkok, marking the company’s continued expansion across Southeast Asia. The new stores are located at Varnit Place Aree, a popular lifestyle destination, and Baan Kampu Asoke on Sukhumvit 21 Road.
The branch launches were attended by ZUS Thailand’s country manager, along with RSC leasing company executives Khun Attharkon Wuddhikullaphak and Khun Thanasin Inthongsuk. RSC highlighted the significance of ZUS Coffee bringing its specialty coffee offerings to Thai consumers as part of its growth in the country.
The Thailand entry is part of ZUS Coffee’s 2025 expansion plan, which targets opening 200 new outlets across Southeast Asia. This includes approximately 107 stores in Malaysia, 80 in the Philippines, and six in Singapore, with future market entries planned in Brunei and Indonesia.
Founded in 2019, ZUS Coffee has quickly scaled to more than 700 stores in Malaysia, up from 290 in 2023. The company offers affordable specialty coffee and began its international expansion in 2023 with its first store in the Philippines.
The Thailand openings featured promotional activities, including free Spanish Lattes for the first 100 customers at each location. The launch represents a strategic step in establishing ZUS Coffee’s presence in the Southeast Asian market while continuing to grow its regional footprint.
