Orissa International supported a US-based company specializing in underwater laser scanning technology designed to enhance the inspection, repair, and maintenance of subsea assets in the marine and oil and gas sectors. As part of a business matching project in Malaysia, we identified and prequalified suitable local partners and distributors and arranged six virtual meetings with key decision makers from companies representing a mix of marine electronics specialists, subsea tooling providers, offshore technology firms, and integrated technical service providers. Each meeting was tailored to the prospective partner’s business focus, exploring how the client’s advanced scanning solutions could complement their existing offerings and address operational needs such as asset integrity management and offshore infrastructure surveys.  The engagement enabled the client to gauge market interest, identify promising partners for potential collaboration or equipment rental, and gain valuable insights into local market dynamics, including relationship-building and pricing sensitivity. The project laid a strong foundation for the client’s future business development and market entry in Malaysia.
