Pomona, an Indonesian provider of marketing and digital sales solutions for the packaged consumer goods and fast-moving consumer goods sector, has successfully closed a USD 3 million fundraising round. The round was led by Vynn Capital, supported by Shanghai-based Ventech China and Amand Ventures. Stellar Kapital and Central Capital Ventura also participated in the funding round. The fundraising will help Pomona to launch a range of new products and services.
Founded in 2016, Pomona’s software allows brands to offer cashback incentives to customers and offers tools for analyzing customer engagement, offline sales conversion and the effectiveness of marketing and advertising campaigns. The company has worked with some of the big brands in the market such as Unilever, Japfa, ABC President, Sosro, Frisian Flag and Sungai Budi.
The investment made by Ventech China in Pomona has reaffirmed its interest in the internet, big data, blockchain and artificial intelligence sectors. The fund has more than USD 350 million in assets under management.
