Fujifilm Malaysia, a subsidiary of Japan’s leading camera and photography company, Fujifilm Corporation, has partnered with the University of Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) to establish the first endoscopy training center in Malaysia. As part of Fujifilm’s ongoing efforts to innovate and diversify, the endoscopy training center is one of its most recent ventures in the global medical business. The company produces a wide range of healthcare solutions, including prevention, diagnosis, and treatment in its medical business.
Fujifilm Malaysia Managing Director Hiro Matsuura stated that the company would provide the endoscopy system to UMMC that is intended to develop medical and surgical teams as experts and specialists in the longer term. Both partners will also conduct educational programs and training sessions for the medical and surgical trainees to improve quality services and build experience using advanced endoscopy technology and lead to a significant contribution to the early detection of diseases.
